I need to pick one. · 7:30pm Aug 30th, 2017
So i'm in a bit of a conundrum, but it's probably the better kind of one.
First of all, I need people to start holding me to task for actually completing stories that i've started/got drabs of in word documents/had banging around in my head. I realize that asking other people to figuratively smack me upside the head is a bit gauche, but as the past week has demonstrated, when left to my own devices i'll mostly end up playing MOBAs and Civilization games, and occasionally talking with people for hours and hours on end. Also, work and sleep, those are pretty important and take up a fair amount of time, but i'm not going to stop doing either of those because, y'know, i need to not starve and not go insane.
As for what to work on, I've got a few ideas for stories in my head, but I'm unsure of which one to work on first. It'd probably be best for me to start one and just stick with it, on the basis that i'd more likely "naturally" write a paragraph, write a paragraph of maybe one other story, maybe, and then go "welp, that's me for the day, time to play more Civ 6."
As for what's currently banging around in my head that i could possibly work on, there's the following:
1. Ponyville is haunted by a spirit with an "artistic" flair, and progressively nasty incidences start springing up over ponyville as starlight glimmer and a couple of other ponies try to fix things.
2. Flash Sentry (the pony one) saves a stallion during what was later discovered to be turf warfare, and unintentionally winds up in the seedy underbelly of Canterlot, trying (with some contacts near the top and acquaintances at the bottom) to make a thoroughly nasty enterprise just a little less nasty.
3. Dragonlord Ember discovers that her remarkable talent for punching things in the face will not help her pick out the right dress for the gala. Fortunately, Thorax is there to help, sort of, maybe.
4. A younger Prince Blueblood and his marefriend try to make the best of a nighttime meeting that, most likely, will be their last.
5. A My Little Dashie(esque) / Optimalverse crossover story, about a broken parent trying vicariously to come to terms with their childhood.
6 and 7. Continue working on either Analog or Not Ron Drawde, respectively.
And probably a buttload else that I've started but forgot about, as well as a couple that I've started but don't intend to mention here.
Ideas? Suggestions? Advice? I'm happy to hear your thoughts about this.
The first one makes me think of Rarity, and the third has the potential to be hilarious, so I'd try looking into those ideas. Whichever ideas you want to explore are up to you, but those two would be my favorites.
What about that story idea you were discussing with me at BronyCon?
I like 3 the best and 1 and 2 also.

I really liked 2 until I read 3. You have to write 3. XD

Gotta go with PresentPerfect here. #3 is the greatest all time.
3 sounds like great fun and I can absolutely start yellng at you to write if it'd help.
I'm really liking the first idea. I do like horror quite a bit.
I do rather like the sound of 3, to be honest.
