Millennia is on hiatus · 4:28pm Aug 28th, 2017
Hey guys, just giving a quick update.
I'm deciding to take a breather from Millennia for a little while. Reason is because, unlike Beginning, I haven't been going on hiatuses every 10 chapters with this story, so I've basically been working on it non-stop since roughly April. There are still 13 chapters left before the story concludes, 6 or 7 of which I'm planning to be fairly big chapters. My hopes were to have it finished by November, but I see now that the reason my frustration has been so high recently when working on Eye of the Storm is because I've not taken any breaks, and so I've punished myself for doing that.
So, until about the middle of September, I will be redirecting my attention to other things. School is a big one, since I've started my second week today (four day weekend this coming weekend though!), and also some other projects I have been working on that I can now focus fully on. Oh yeah, and the revisions of the early chapters of Beginning.
Chapters 1 and 2 of Deceitful Royalty are now complete, and my new goal is to try and have chapter 3 finished by October 1st, which is when I'm going to publish the story. I've also finished the prologue for The Guard of the Sun, although I still don't have a full quota of when I want to publish that. For it I'm looking to get out at least three or four chapters total, which right now I've only just barely started chapter 1. When will I publish TGotS? Either December, January, or February. I'm not too concerned about it right now seeing as it is a pretty big story, and I might not do anything else with it until after Millennia is done, which should roughly be around that time anyways.
As for the Millennia sequel, Starfall, that is being held until the middle or later parts of next year. Not only do I graduate in June, but I may have extra time to myself assuming I don't find a job before then (which will be my big concern after school is done), that and I'm sort of looking to veer away from writing first person for a little while. It's not that I hate it, but its tougher for me to write for some reason.
