Just rewatched one of my favorite B movies Carnosaur 3 Primal Species. The movie has some interesting references to donkeys. First a comment about their intelligence and then as frame of reference for targets.
How can one not love this movie?:
It occurred to me this sleepless night of tracking and reading stories on FiMFiction that I was listening to black metal and death metal mostly throughout. Is it normal to have this in the background while reading about colorful ponies and friendship?

I listen to Unleashed, Cradle of Filth, goatwhore, Ensiferum, Kuias and etc when i'm writing fanfiction. But I can't actually listen to music while I read it, just distracts me.

Not entirely sure, but if I make an approximate guess I've probably listened to Dead Eternity by In Flames the most overall. That song got me into metal so many years ago and more or less sparked the musical interest I have today.
Hmm...well. Considering that I listen to music all the time anymore, I can't say if it's normal or not...cause hell and the devil knows I'm the furthest thing from normal.

I lisen to classical/soundtrack music as I read sometimes, like when I'm reading an epic fic or whatever. (Plus I won't and don't listen to anything with lyrics in general)
