Hey folks,
It's been a while since I've done anything of note.
According to Fimfic, tomorrow will be three months since the release of my latest story, "Look on Down From the Bridge." It feels like it's been far longer. That's a story that, while written for a contest (and took second place!), I struggled a lot with writing. I've said in a previous post that the events in the story are fictitious and did not happen to me. But the emotions. The feelings. Those were very real and continue to be real.
For those of you tracking "Prismatic," don't worry, I have not forgotten about you. If all goes well, there should be an update by the end of the week. I never intended it to be more than a one-shot, but due to certain time constraints I was forced to split it. It's a very new kind of story for me, and one that I never expected I'd be writing. I don't expect it will be anything above "kinda okay I guess," but I've an obligation to finish it, so finish it I shall. I'm sorry it's taken so long in the first place.
For those of you who remember way back in November when I posted a poll for stories you'd like to see written, I haven't forgotten about you either; life's just gotten in the way. Ideally, I would like to start work on the second part of "Par for the Course" sometime soon. Havoc Mare is a much more complex beast, one that I don't feel I'm quite ready to start writing, so that is still unfortunately stuck in the planning stages. I really do want to write these, and I think about all these things left unwritten every day.
