What should I do for a sequel? · 7:57am Jul 15th, 2017
Well, it seems like my Sombring adultery fic got a lot of positive feedback! Honestly, I wasn't sure if the story itself was my best work, but I'm glad it got so many people clamoring for a continuation/sequel.
However, part of me wonders if I'm putting too much on my plate if I do make more following An Impulsive Temptation. I mean, with the updates I try to give to Shut Up And Dance and Chronicles of a Sluttified Spike, along with other oneshots I want to do, I don't want to overwork myself for the sake of a good idea popping up. But still, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have any ideas churning in my head as we speak~
So for now, I just want to ask what things you guys would want to see if I were to write a sequel to this fic. Would you want more emotional drama? More steamy sex? Possibly darker elements being put into play? I considered an idea of forceful cuckoldery with Cadance being tied down and forced to watch, only to have her memories of it be erased right after. I know the first story was more emotionally and romantically-driven than my previous Sombring shipfics, but I just want to know what people would want if I were to continue. Just comment below with your ideas/opinions so I can know for sure.

I like the idea of a drama/romantic relationship while sombra helps shining work through his problems. Plus steamy stress relief sex. ;)
I think what I'd personally want out of it is Sombra helping Shining with his marital problems, then eventually settling things with Cadance and becoming happy again. Only now, he has to deal with liking both his wife and Sombra.
Then again, I'm a sucker for herds, so I like the whole "everyone gets together and is happy" kinda stuff.
Still though, I've loved all of your stories before (especially Brushed Away & Shut Up and Dance), so I think that I'd still enjoy whatever you manage to come up with.
I'm fine with any of it as long as Cadence is NOT ok with being cuck'd, alot of stories ruin it by making her like know about it and be ok with it or encouraging, it ruins the taboo fun for me
More emotional drama would be good. I really liked the emotion/romance drive of this one compared to the others. I like the idea of this causing Shining's relationship with Cadance to get worse. Although i'm thinking more of a slow death spiral than one sudden thing. But I do like the idea of Cadance finding out and not being ok with it.
It really depends whether you're more interested in making it more erotic and cloppy, or whether you want to write an emotional drama. If it's the latter, I'd like to hear more about what Shining and Cadance's marital problems are and how being in a sort-of genuine relationship is affecting Sombra. I always imagined he's a guarded, somewhat paranoid person, owing to how many layers of security magic he'd built up around his castle and the Crystal Heart, so he may struggle to be as emotionally intimate with Shining as Shining has become with him.
If you'd rather make it hot, then for me and my tastes, I think the two of them would enjoy the thrill of possibly getting caught. Shining would be mortally terrified of that, of course, but it would make it all the more of a relief when they get away with it. I can see you getting a lot of mileage out of gradually increasing the risks they take. Maybe Shining doesn't shower afterward one time, and Cadance notices he smells a little too much like Sombra. Maybe they start kissing while she's right outside. Maybe Sombra goes so far as to try to have sex with Shining while Cadance is asleep nearby and he just has to try not to make a sound. That could be incredibly hot.
These aren't mutually exclusive or the only options, of course; I'm just not sure where you want to go with it.
Juicy drama, plox.
But don't overwork yourself. Always feel free to come back to an idea later after working on some other things. Just be sure to write it down and you should be good.
An individuals angst over a situation always works to develop their characters dimension as well as making it dramatically sexy too.
You've given Sombra the best elements of sexy, seductive and a hint of sinister that work well with the situation he's in with Shining Armor. I wouldn't rush the progression to the mind wiping scene but probably recommend a development/exploration of their physical relationship before introducing Candance. đŸ˜ˆ

an extra that shining armor is top of cadence, pounded by sombra it feels so good he shoots his load on her body and face! if you take my idea or not. I may do my own sombra x shining armor fic...someday after my other story is finished.

Although, I might need to write out some more emotional stuff before I think of publishing that oneshot when it's complete.
4603859 yeah about my own epic story about of beautiful m/m about spike x dusk shine (used the name only but made an original character out of it.) whose the son of twilight sparklefrom being rape by royal guard in an ally taking shortcut while coming back from the library & celestia’s court! later has a foal but must give it up. her brother & princess are only ones who know besides the hospital staff but were paid to not say a word about it. later on he shows up in town going to school with spike(cause he asked twilight for his own life besides being just her lackey.) the story set after S4,some 5,6 one ep from season 7 celestia advice & the rest purely original.
