Today has been a real rollercoaster · 1:31am Jul 7th, 2017
I have spent most of the day working on files for Bubble's sticker business, while storms have popped in and out of the area and I tried to get some writing done. Then in the middle of it, I discovered blood when cleaning up after the dogs, which then led to the systematic examination of multiple buttholes. Which, in turn, led to the discovery of blood on Lucy's backend and sent me into straight panic mode. You don't mess around when dealing with a possible internal injury with a barely 3lbs pound poodle. I cleaned her up but couldn't get a good look at things. Bubble had the car and was stuck in Atlanta storm traffic at rush hour, and all the vets were closed, except for the emergency vet I couldn't get to anyway.
The one that has dragged me to essential financial ruin, and been the place more than one pet has gone to and never come back from.
Thank god, but Lulu seems to be okay. I finally got her clean and clear, she's acting normal and isn't leaking any more vital fluids, so it might have just been a tear on her o-ring or something. She's under observation for now.
But then, to my great surprise and definite mood reversal, Bubble came in with a package that had my new graphics card. Well, new to me, at least. It's a hand-me-down from Ultra1437, who is an all around stellar dude that you should all go follow and read his Troubleshooters fic. Trust me, it's good. Now I get to look forward to shoving it into my computer and watching it catch on fire!
The endorphins are already starting to fade and now I just kinda want to pass out, but I got some stuff left to jot down for a big project.

I wish I could say it was something that I didn't have to do semi-regularly.

Glad she seems sokay and I'd say if there's no more blood, don't panic too much, it's likely it was a fissure or somesuch. Glad to hear she's got a good owner.
