"We hold this truths to be self evident that all man are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with inherent, unalienable rights. And among these, are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
For those of you who dont know, this is one of the first phrases of the US Declaration of Independence. I wrote this down purely from memory, not because I sat and memorized it, but because it is the one phrase that I stand beside more then ever. not just as an American citizen, but as a soldier as well. Sadly in the past 300 years, the rights have dwindled a bit. Freedom of speech, the right to bear arm, even the right to a fair trial by a jury of peers. one by one their meaning is slowly fading until I fear one day, they will no longer exist. but... as the rights fade, I still stand by theses words since they are the very words that founded our nation.
Don't get me wrong, I will never claim the US to be the greatest nation in the world, just as I will never claim my culture, to be the best. but if anyone should take my advice it should be now, Never be ashamed of where your from. Home is home, and though I will always consider myself a Texan first (its a Texas thing) I am proud to be an American, even if on occasion I'm not proud of my countries actions or its leaders. (they don't speak for me... I do.)
Now onto the subject at hand. The FINAL CHAPTER IS FINISHED!!! its not up yet, but once my proofreader is done, it will be up for all to see. I'm just so stoked that its done because I rewrote that chapter like... 10 times. first it didn't sound right to me, then it was left with lots of holes, then it was too long, then bla, bla, bla. lol fact of the matter is, once its posted I think it is a fitting end to The Third Commander and the Star Bolt Series.
Next up, The Story of Captain Sail and his crew of the Crimson pirates. I've already started on the story and the prologue is already finished, but par-the-norm, I will be posting it along with the first chapter so it may be a while before its done. either way, I hope you enjoy it, and note that it is a Pre-quil to Limitless Skies so feel free to look for connections in it... since there are expected to be a lot.
