So The Old Motivation Has Taken A Hit · 3:29pm Jun 14th, 2017
I don't know how long this bout of minor block is going to last, but it's been going on since I got Light Sprint's Little Problem published. It's killed my momentum with A Thief's Tale so I'm going to extend my usual release schedule from every four days to a week to help me maintain a decent release schedule. It'll slow down further once I get a job, but as it is right now, I'm just not feeling it as much as I once was. There are still events and things that I have planned and I know the general direction I want to take the story in, but it's just been slow going. Instead of pumping out 6-10k words a day, I've been lucky to get 3-5k and that's been taking its toll too.
Either way, Chapter Forty-One is already done and Forty-Two is about 16k deep, though it's shaping up to be a longer chapter. At this point, I care less about length and more about making something worth reading, so that's cool.

Stay cool your self old man.
Well, this is a slap in the face. I'll endure, of course, and I'll wait. That's the problem with writer's block, it sneaks up on you without any warning. Still, I guess compared to other stories you are pumping out chapters faster than I have ever seen in my life, so I can't really complain.

I always do. Until the summer months, that is.

I try to get shit done as quickly as possible. Chapter Forty-Two is coming along, but I'm just not feeling the inspiration as much as I was. It's come back for now, but I don't know how long it'll last. This morning was terrible, this afternoon was fine, but I know tonight is going to be rough unless I stay up particularly late so I can get some peace and quiet.
