Next chapter might take a while

While I have an idea of what I want to write, I'm having a bit of trouble getting to the scenes I want to show while trying to keep my self imposed chapter limit of 3000 or so words viable....

Since I've hit a snag in writing the next chapter, I'm going ask you guys what you would want to see.

- A chapter around 3000 words

or

-A shorter chapter that has the scenes I want to show that moves the plot along.

Keep in mind that the final published version might even hit the 3000 word mark, I don't exactly know how long it's going to be.

As of writing this post, I'm going to work the important scenes as standalone segments, maybe once I get the important stuff out the way I'll come up with a few ideas to make it all flow properly.
