Resuming Work On The Psychic Knight. Also, the beginnings of Mewtwo's Pokemon Rogues Gallary · 8:12pm May 30th, 2017
Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, I've been thinking, and I've decided to resume working on my Mewtwo story, The Psychic Knight. Part of the reason the second chapter is taking me so long is because I've been trying to assemble a full rogues gallary for Mewtwo to face, aside from the MLP villains and, of course, Hypno. Thing is, there's a whole lot of Pokemon to go through, and I wanted to be sure that I had plenty of Pokemon that Mewtwo was weak against, to provide a bit of more of a challenge for him, in addition to foes that susceptible to Psychic attacks and those who fall inbetween, as well as some possible members of Mewtwo's own team of six, himself included. Anyways, here's who I've been able to whip up so far, aside from Hypno, who'll most likely be a Prism/Rainbow Raider type villain, except his victims aren't consumed by rage:
1. Weavile
Think of her as a sort of Catwoman/Rouge the Bat/Black Cat kind of character, as well as a rival for Twilight in terms of Mewtwo's love interest.
2. Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar
Still working on what kind of villains these guys are, but they'll be a significant threat. Probably something akin to the mafia.
3. Golisopod
Complete with Emergency Exit. Personality is like Guzma's, and leads a gang of insect-type pokemon, some gijinka, others in their original forms.
4. Malamar
Not sure what role he'll play yet.
5. Spiritomb
Couldn't find a decent photo. But, he'll probably show up around the Luna Eclipsed arc, with the other ghost-types.
That's all I got for super-effective-against-psychic-type villains, and non-MLP villains in general, aside from Discount Rainbow Raider/Prism Hypno. If you guys have any suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments below.

For Malamar just look to the XY episode A Conspiracy to Conquer. Or the Pokedex entries. The two mediums offer different perspectives of how Malamar could go. One an evil mastermind pretending to be minion. The other a psychotic killer so charismatic he lures his victims into isolation.
I feel like a Pokemon like Bisharp would be a good antagonist. Perhaps someone that fights Mewtwo for the sake of fighting.
