So aterriblewriter have been PMing a bit and we. or more accurately...... I don't know his/her gender..... damn.... any way he and/or she has come up with an idea for a Crossover between My Life as as Eldritch Horror and I'm a Loli?!?. It's a one-shot so I may write that today, instead of doing another chapter. What do you think?

As long as it sticks to being a one-shot, or even a series of one-shots, that stay separate from the main story, I could get behind it.

as long as it isn't canon, it'll be fine.

It'd be non-canon. Just something fun.

Do an professor oak first and ask there gender

I think it'll be cool. :P

It's currently sitting at 3503 words and if you want a preview... Two words... Muffin Monster...

4552053 Yes and no. Yes in that it's a human displaced into Equestria. No in that it's not connected to the Displaced Metaverse.

Just a word of warning: a recurring problem with "displaced" fics is that they'll spend so much time on crossovers with other displaced fics that 1) they lose the audience which was there for the non-displaced stuff 2) readers often don't know what's going on because they don't know what the other stories are about and don't want to read them, and 3) they spend so much time on that that the plot slows to a crawl. I've seen fics that never completed their original plot or even had it fully fleshed out, because the writer spent so much time with the displaced-crossover stuff. Not saying you shouldn't do this, but be wary of how much time you're spending on it...

4555731 That's my main issue with Displaced fics in the first place. An issue I plan to address within the story itself.
Edit: Also I'm going to make a Blog post about my thoughts on the Displaced, and what my plan is for my Displaced story as well.

Good to hear, and you should do that. The most disheartening example I can think of was Mutated and Misunderstood, where I was enjoying the plot when he wasn't creating crossovers with things that didn't interest me, and he ended up stopping before he'd even finished explaining what was going on in the central plot...

...That said, A Sketch in Time was probably a better one, because they didn't do any crossovers other than having the con-vendor guy as a major character. It's now on a sequel.
