Sadly not gonna happen… there WAS a full remake for Small Soldiers in the works at one point (under the developing name of Toymageddon), but when Disney bought Fox and cancelled 200 films they had in various stages of development, the remake was one of the casualties.

Edit: And before anyone calls me misinformed or a liar, I brought proof.

Edit 2: Just learned it is a “proof of concept” for a video game! I hope a publisher picks this up, as it could be fun… I’m buying the “Killer Klowns from Outer Space” game when it releases, and I’d definitely buy this game too in a heartbeat!
