Late Mother's Day Thingy · 2:06pm May 15th, 2017
Huh, I completely forgot about showing you FIMfiction guys in my down time between church and visiting Grandma yesterday. Ah, well, better late than never.
Since I did this sort of thing with Tomato for Father's Day last year, I figured that it was his wife's turn.
I think this is the second mare that you've seen me draw as pregnant, the first one being Pinkie Pie. Anyway, Flora remarks that Bell Pepper was a kicker, and that anyone who felt that belly was likely to get a little hoofbump.
Tell me I'm not the only one who finds it funny that Flora and Bell look almost nothing alike (I will say that they do have the same face: no really, take a gander at adult Bell's face and compare it with Flora's). It's like my Grandma and her youngest daughter (my mom) all over again (I even have a comic idea based on a funny incident when my mom was a newborn).
At least the four born later get more obvious traits inherited from Mom.
You can't expect Flora to grow up with seven younger siblings and not know how to play with a baby.

And I also gotta have a classic "mother kissing baby" kind of thing.
Flora did always want to become a mother, even coming up with names for her future foals (she did get to use two of them, Forest March and Marigold; the rest were Tomato's ideas). And honestly, I don't think that there could be a better mother for Bell Pepper.
