So, the final parts of Eigengrau are coming

Some mild teasers and spoilers ahead. Still with me? Good.

As the darkest, bleakest part of this story wraps up, we see Dim at the very bottom.

He's a mess. So is the tiny sliver of Cadance that is lodged in his mind. Luna is pissed off by Cadance's hurt, and she expends some special effort to come into Dim's dreams, even though he is halfway around the world. She tells him that if he doesn't come home, at once, this instant, he is going to suffer the worst case of tough love that anypony has ever suffered in the recorded history of the world, and if necessary, she will come after him herself, in pony. There is just too much at stake to risk losing him to Grogar.

In the port city of Tortoise-Tuga, Dim is looking for work. He runs into Blackbird Coffyn. Cadance has a lot to say about Blackbird, but I won't reveal what. Blackbird has an important quest. An agreement is reached and the story ends. Tada! Eigengrau will transition into the next story, and won't have the dreadful first chapter that was the story-killer for so many.

I honestly think Dim is the best character you have ever written. Also dim is the first pony in history to get hit with the WMTL (Weapon of Mass Tough Love) and he needs every kiloton of that love.
