So Many Ideas For Potential EQG Spin-Off · 1:55pm Apr 11th, 2017
The difficulty being choosing the one which is mostly ideal for when that day comes:
- A new Stardust Balance that arrives in a different EQG universe than the one pony Stardust is acquainted, therefore starting from scratch with befriending everyone and so on. The pairing would, obviously, be Sci Twi/EQG Stardust.
- Pony Stardust arriving at Canterlot High to act as a mentor, the story being a Power Rangers-esque fic where he advises and trains the girls, helping in battles only when needed to.
- The same as above, but where pony Stardust enters another EQG world where Sunset, Twilight nor anyone else there are familiar with him.
- Instead of either Stardust, it's Jack Wright who enters the EQG world. As in, Stardust in his original RL body and, this time, being paired up with Sunset instead.
- EQG Stardust AND Jack Wright in the same world; one younger and more abrasive, ruled by his bitterness and anger. The latter a few years older and more patient, his negative emotions having cooled down to simply depression and regret.
Any of them you like? Any ideas you have yourself for when that day arrives? We have plenty of time before Hasbro inevitably releases the Equestria Girls show after MLP: FiM is finished with.
I like the fourth idea, rl Jack in EQG, the concept of a si or rl oc ending up in EQG has played around in my head a bit. Maybe have him be there before Sunset and befriend her when she arrives... Maybe even by accident. I believe Sunset wanted to be an alicorn but Celestia knew she wasn't ready so she went through the mirror, perhaps Jack could slowly make her realize immortality has a price.
I like the idea of starting from scratch with Stardust in a EG world were he hasn't been to the pony world at all and arriving before Sunset Shimmer. I enjoyed your brief story were you hinted at rivalry between you and Sunset Shimmer. It be interesting to see that story expand to show you and Shimmer before events of 1st movie. Then show movie events from your perspective without you going to pony world. And your ideas of what happens after ever free. You could even have a south park gag running were something unlucky happens to Flash all the time similar to how Kenny dieing each episode, except Flash to Stardust's fustration doesn't die.
Third and fourth ideas sound unteresting.
I like the fouth idea because it would be interesting to see Jack Wright in his RL body instead of his pony EQG self and how it goes
Mix 3 and 4, RL Jack wright the bitter slightly older one pairs up with sunset who helps him get better, after running into stardust and co from Equestria
