...bear in mind that art director for the movie, Rebecca Dart (who also did S5), is not at all happy with the rendering, and says she would not have approved the trailer in its current state. So if you think some of the visuals are a little off, that's probably why. The trailer itself doesn't exactly tell us anything and so isn't really spoilery at all, though there are a few brief glimpses of non-Mane Six ponies, so be careful if you're really spoilerphobic.
This looks like garbage already.

4486656 Rebecca Dart has said that what we see in the trailer isn't representative. Since she was also art director on S5 of the show, she definitely knows what she's doing. I don't think we're really going to get a good idea until we see a full-length trailer with some actual movie clips. It's way premature to brand it "garbage" this early.
