"Aunt Millie" will be over soon: The Last Chapter and What Comes After It · 9:04pm Apr 4th, 2017

Greetings, fellow readers of "Aunt Millie". As you have probably heard by now, "Aunt Millie" is nearing its end. I started writing the last chapter today, which will get published on Saturday, and this is a good moment now to talk about what happens after the fic is completed:

So, what is going to happen once the fic has seen its last chapter?

If you read the comments under the story, you might have seen me talking about a sequel already. Until I will write this sequel, though, quite some time is going to pass, because I have other, unfinished projects I need to tend to first. However, this does not mean you will dry out on new reading material for Dinky by me.....
A while ago, precisely, on November 13th 2015, I started writing on a fic that is about Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle helping their first pony with a cutie mark problem after they got their cutie marks and found their special talent and destiny. I was enthusiastic and overjoyed over them finally getting their cutie marks, so I started this fic and was eager to continue it.
Unfortunately..... life threw a wrench in this. At the time I started the fic, I knew I had to move soon, so I was furiously searching for an apartment and, since I hate moving like the pestilence, quite stressed out as well. Then the moving happened at the beginning of January 2016. The place I ended up in turned out as pretty bad (and that is sadly an understatement), so, I had to move again not even two weeks later.
And the stress caused by all of this, including the circumstances in the first new apartment I moved into, made it necessary to set some time aside to recover. Then Season 6 came..... And I started writing on my fic for Flurry Heart, followed by "Aunt Millie" shortly after.
Updating these fics didn't leave me much time for other writing, and especially not for another, on-going story, so, the fic I started back in November 2015 was sitting around. Until now.
As soon as I'm finished with "Aunt Millie", I will return my attention to this fic. And, like you could probably guess already if you read this far, Dinky will have a central role in this story as well and she is one of the main characters.
So, even though "Aunt Millie" will end soon, if you crave more writing about Dinky by me, there is more on the way!
The fic is titled "The Strange Case of Dinky Hooves' Cutie Mark Curiosity" and my first step will be to give its first chapter a do-over. I improved while writing "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" and "Aunt Millie" and want to bring this fic on my current writing standard.

I will write another blog entry and talk about my new (old) fic for Dinky in a little more detail after the last chapter of "Aunt Millie" has been published. But, for now, I hope I could already provide you with a worthy suggestion for what to read to bridge the time until the sequel for "Aunt Millie" comes out.
