Some things I am considering · 3:24pm Apr 3rd, 2017
Getting a Twitter account. Mostly to follow some things I want/need to follow.
Going to RTX this year. It might be within my budget, although there are some other issues...
Buying a tablet. I do a lot of pencil sketches; translating to a digital form can't be that hard, right?
Expanding my patreon. Right now I am only charging for ponyfic chapters, but I could either go into clop or start charging for chapters in other fandoms. This is a decision that I have not made, and I would like feedback before I do anything.
Twitter accounts also have the side effect of trolling and flame wars.
As long as you keep the categories separate. I'm not paying for clop.
What other fandoms would you be open to doing? I'd love to see a story from you in the Supernatural or Bates Motel fandoms. Especially some Bates Motel smut with Norman and Norma...yes, I'm weird.
Hmmm, The tablet thing is a learning curve for sure, and the pen can get really annoying if it starts to derp. On the bright side;
1) You'll no longer have to worry about making too many mistakes and leaving marks.
2) You can draw in layers, so it makes correcting mistakes easier.
3) Digital art will generally look better (within its skill area) than pencil and paper.
4) You can do much more with an art program than a physical medium.
5) You'll never have to worry about running out of whatever you draw with and you'll have access to literally every color.
6) some art programs have curve/strait line correcters.
So the tablet is recommended, just give yourself some time to get used to it.
