Pfft, who needs family? · 5:10am Sep 30th, 2012
So I just had a family gathering with everyone of my mom's side of the family (due to divorce) to celebrate a birthday, and they all now know that I watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The events leading to that reveal I won't go into. And while they are (thankfully) unaware of the term "brony" and everything related to it (i.e. anti-brony, clop, etc.), I was still mocked and ridiculed for it for three fucking hours. And while I tried to explain why, nobody cared to listen. The only person okay with me being a brony is my dad.
Whatever, I always was the black sheep of the family anyway.
My family doesn't know. Simply because I see no reason to share.
I remember when my younger sister told my grandparents I watched MLP
Oh well, disregard family, acquire poniesdl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/lolface_Celestia.png
That sucks. My family doesn't know. Mostly because they don't really need to know, and the same reason as 393096.
393096>>393102 Well, the way they found out was by accident. I left my phone out and it had a pony background. I mistakenly asked my cousin to get it for me than she saw it, then one thing led to another. Curse little siblings and their big fat mouths.
393222 I came close to snapping at them and pulling out those facts, but I decided not to. Something about love and toleration, I believe. And brony on to you as well.
Still though, whatever. You guys are my real family.
Bah, ignore them.
400038 Best advice ever. Seriously, no sarcasm here. If you don't care, you won't care. That's what makes things like this so much easier to deal with.
And I can play this Saturday if you're up for it.
