Batpony Story has a prologue and words in the first chapter (and no title as of yet). I think it's about 4,000 words total at the moment. Turns out I'm still working on one of the characters, though, but progress has been made. I should hope that the pace picks up once I have the setting and characters worked out.
Likely anyone reading this already knows I've dropped an Unhinged story in as a submission to FoME's contest, which features things like a pinch of Early Modern English and a bloodthirsty cult. I hear tell of a meme of using "And then the murders began" as one's second line. I probably could have and it would have fit, but clearly I opted for something else.
For reasons both identified and still left to speculation, my attention span (and mindset in general) has been doing unusual things as of late. While a certain degree of insanity is likely required to write stories based off of incoherent cards based off of magical rainbow ponies, I still find it disappointing, and perhaps a bit unnerving. The aforementioned Unhinged story made it out of my mind before things got wonky, but it is inconsistently difficult to continue work on the batpony story at present. If I do/did anything stupid soon/recently, just blame it on this.
