A longtime watcher of mine approached me recently.
NukaColaBomb, awesome person. He told me in no small terms about how much my writing meant to him. How it got him into the pony romance fanfiction. And then, he did something that I never ever thought would happen.
He gave me a gift as thanks and asked nothing in return.
Seriously, it floors me to think that my writing would be so appreciated. I know progress has been slow, but still.
And it's not just appreciation from this one guy. Since our conversation, I had been reading back over the comments I have gotten on my stories. It's an amazing feeling.
Thank you all so much. NukaColaBomb, all of my watchers, all my readers, everyone who's liked, read, and left a comment. You guys are the reason I do this.
And I'll admit, sometimes I need to be reminded of this. Not saying that I ever doubted you, it's just that sometimes motivation is a bit... lacking. And now I have college as well, which helps nothing. However, I am now full of writing steam and ready to go out and get this chapter written (after school assignments).
Now, this doesn't just go for me. All writers like to know they're appreciated, especially those currently in a slump. Leave an extra comment on their page saying how much you like their stories. Perhaps drop them a personal PM. You don't have to actually give them anything, but just let them know you care. Be supportive.

Number One might have been the greatest OC Fic I ever read. Whatever this guy did, you deserve it.

Dude, you are an awesome writer, it as after reading the chapters of room 213 that you have up that I started writing my own fiction, although it doesn't compare to yours, you are an inspiration! Thanks for all of your writing!

Not a problem. I always love seeing your stories show up in my updates list, and I try to make sure all of my favorite authors know how much I enjoy their stories! Keep on writing for as long as you're having fun with it. I'll just keep on reading.
I believe I mentioned it once and I'll say it again if I didn't: You're the guy who won me over to get an account on FimFic, and you are my favorite author. Since then, I have found other great authors like Kody910 and Cerulean1313 (I'll admit, he's made me tear up). Although, I still love to come back and read your stories, especially No Need For Words.
Keep at it man, but take your time. We understand about college and all that. Any "moar" comments are likely a statement of love, rather than impatience.
Number One was one of the first shipfics I ever read and enjoyed. No Need For Words hit me right in the feels, and had some of the best execution I've ever seen in a romance. You truly are a brilliant author.
