The longest intro of my entire life · 3:01pm Jan 27th, 2017

So, yesterday I got The Witcher 3 (and a playstation to play it on).

First thing I notice when I boot up the game.

Before I even get to the main menu, I'm treated to a ten minute history lesson of the world of witcher.

At least, that's what I assumed it was. I eventually just muted the screen and went off to do something else, and checked back later to see if it was finished.

Then, finally, when it got to the main menu I clicked new game and guess what? A cut scene. A five minutes long cutscene, of nothing to do but sit and watch as characters I don't care about fight for reasons I don't care about either, but I figure hey, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, and watched it for a bit. Then I got bored and went to got something to eat and drink.

When I got back it was almost finished, and I just had to wait a few more minutes for it to give me the option to run a tutorial. And then I think to myself: Hey, might as well. I've never played this game before so of course I want to see a tutorial so I know how to play!

So I select that option and, hey, cutscenes! (Also, maybe spoilers ahead if you haven't played it)

Well, not really. First one he's in a bath, that just takes ages, and I get some time to stretch my legs and walk around, a dialogue choice, and I get to sit and do nothing whilst an old man talks about something. (I already forgot what, it was yesterday.)

At this point I'm starting to get worried. Like, I haven't mixed the boxes and accidentally gotten the "Telltale Games' The Witcher 3: Movie" have I?

Anyway, after that we actually get into actual tutorial stuffs (it's not important, we all know what) and then guess what happens? (I you're thinking cutscene you're wrong)

I get two cutscenes, and more dialogue choices.

So I think it goes without saying.

10/10

Perfect use of R14000.

(I also got a few more games I've been wanting for a while, so maybe I'll post my reaction to those if there's anything else that particularly stands out)

(but that 20GB update though. O_o)
(and 26 for Doom. o__O)

Five games total:

Witcher
No Man's Sky
Watchdoges 2
GTA V (the better editions)
And, of course, Doooooooom

All fun games in my opinion. I just have to wait overnight for the updates to download. -_-

4398624 Doom and GTA V are top choices.
Can't say much for Witcher 3 or Watchdoges 2, haven't played, but I've heard good things.
You'll either love or hate NMS heh

Heh, yeah.

I've seen and heard a lot about the game, how it let down all the pre-order folks, but I'm not one of them so it's okay. And besides, they improved a lot with the recent update.

The Witcher 3 is quite impressive, I hope to one day be strong enough to smite the guards and not die a bunch.

As for Watchdogs, I'mma see. I haven't seen any gameplay or anything, so it'll be a surprise. ^_^

Edit: Also, if anyone finds a planet named Planet Doge, that was me.

Even without playing, I am fairly confident that someone has probably beaten you to the punch there ;p

Ah, but did they name everything on it with a dogeish theme as well? :ajsmug:

4398636 maybe I'unno, you'd have to find out:ajsmug:
