A battle with one not considered an enemy in a dangerous spot. New gear for everypony, harnesses that are not at all inspired by this and some weapons that have dangerous application in the wrong hooves. And then... A date? No, a chase! What is she doing here? What are they doing together?
An eventful evening for the Root family girls and really, only half of one at that. In this chapter I did what any writer does in this situation, and I put a break right where it becomes unknown as to what's going to happen next. If you can guess, then good for you. You might not be right, but hey, at least it's something huh? We put Applebloom's power to use (thanks to Will for the idea), we had Goose drop by (literally), and even gave him a 'super hero' name to boot. Look forward to the next half of this chapter where we'll see the exciting conclusion.
Hey, it's been a week! I got a chapter out, and school hasn't really gotten started yet because I have yet to do anything more than read in class these days. I've been editing The right man in the wrong place... for a friend this week and I think it's pretty good. He and I have an oddly similar mind when it comes to several points about the story so go give it a look if you like Super. I believe another chapter was supposed to go up tomorrow or so (don't quote me on that) and it's not quite something you see every day on this site.
Back in my own world, said friend read through and pointed out mistakes in Ground Control to Major Twi, so I've gon through and re:edited the whole story. I've also been editing early chapters of Super, and up to OS3 is now nice and clean with very few if any mistakes at all, including continuity fixes. I will continue to do this throughout the next few weeks until it's all finished and I'm hoping to get it all done by the time I post the last chapter of the Harmony arc (arc 2) on the 29th, which will happen for certain now that I know I'm splitting 23 (HM3) in two.
The outline is complete! Sometimes they call me Super has an ending and every chapter from here on out is planned and ready to be fleshed out, so that means I have about a real schedule on when the whole thing is going to be done. Tentative date for the final chapter to come out is June 25th, but chances are I'll get much more done before then since I have a whole week of off time from school in march and I get out of school in early may. With any luck, I'll try to get the story done in May just after the one year anniversary on May 23rd. With that in mind, my goal of getting the story done in may is still possible, but I'll have to double up four times from here on out to accomplish that. I think what I'll do is that I'll try and get at least one Wednesday chapter out each month alongside my regular updates, so we'll see just how that goes.
Well, that's all from me for now. Expect a TON of action in the next half of HM3 because that's just about all there will be... well, that and maybe some aftermath.
TL;DR Outline is finished, Super should be complete by it's birthday (you'll see why that's ironic), and the next chapter should be mostly action scenes.
