I know I've been gone much longer than I have any right to be, but this blog isn't about that.
Suffice to say that I'm fine (professionally busy), but fine.
But my dear friend and brother, Biker Dash, is not.
He suffered a minor heart attack out of the blue today and had to be transported via ambulance from his home town to Portland, Maine; about a 70 mile drive in snowy conditions. Worse still, he's going to be holed up there for a while-not only for observational purposes, but because a winter storm is bearing down on Maine as I type this.
Many of you know Biker Dash from his editing and hilarious blogging here on Fimfiction. I know him as one of the guys that's stuck by me the longest, has never lost faith in me writing again, and has occasionally e-asskicked me to get me moving. 
But through that all, he's been a shining example of an editor, a Brony, and a friend to me and countless others here.
I ask that you all give Biker Dash your support in his trying time and wish him the best of luck in his recovery and his travels back home.

4361100 Look on the bright side. If you have to get stuck somewhere in bad weather, a hospital is about the safest possible place to be. You have basically guaranteed power, food, water, and other necessities, instant access to medical assistance, aviation facilities, and are the absolute highest priority for emergency assistance if anything does manage to go wrong.

I don't really jnow you, buy from one heart patient to another: This is something that, while quite frightening, is not too uncommon. I'm sure the doctors there are treatin' ya well.
(Fun fact: not every cardiac patient is forced to use their diet specific menu.)
