    Presents

Happy hatchday for me means presents for you. (Is that how it works?)
I've got more alicorns for you. This time it's an open ended series of stories from before Twilight moves to ponyville. Right now I have 5 chapters and a short arc, ranging in completion from posted to early stages of planning.

    More Alicorns

So another story about an immortal alicorn is up. Fatal Sunburn. This time Princess Celestia marches (flies) to battle.
I finally marked the others as comedy to emphasize that this one is really not made to be funny.

I leave a lump of gore in your stocking...

...for all the bloody fillies and colts.

If you are reading this then it's probably because you somehow enjoyed my mess of a story 'Of Alicorn Foals'. (if not then warning: excessive gore)
If so then, good news everypony, there is now a small continuation and I am (very slowly) working on an actual sequel.

...for all the bloody fillies and colts.

No clue when it will be finished but I have a basic Idea what I want to happen and a few chunks written up.

But I did recently think of something. Would it be better to concentrate effort on this world towards 1 large story that might (probably) take years? Or spread it out across several smaller stories?
I write when I have ideas but I do have some control over what is more likely to get ideas.

So try not to vomit while enjoy reading the new story. And if enough people laugh at me killing ponies, I'll give in and tag them both as comedy.

P.S. Trying the auto approval. Here's hoping I didn't forget or overlook something.

I don't really care if you make one big fic or several smaller ones. I just want more great fics to read and you're one of the best writers here in my mind, so i would gladly read a big one or many small ones:scootangel:

As long as it's just the alicorns, so they're not gonna stay dead, I'm all for it. :P Oh, and I think little stories may be better.

Well, I'd probably go for smaller self-contained parts, would that be possible. A huge story spanning years is awesome IF there's an above-average chance of you actually completing it. Otherwise... Not so fun :(

What I am curious about is if you consider viable mane6 sharing the immortality thing via the element link. Oh well, regardless, this should be fun :3

4349134 It WOULD be rather funny if they did. I'd say with the harmony powers box from after Tirek.

And they found out in a dramatic manner such as RD splating in a supersonic dive against a rampaging dragon or something like that.

Oh gods can you imagine what kind of crazy shenanigans an immortal RD would put herself up to?!? :twilightoops:
AN IMMORTAL PINKIE! AAAAAHHHH!!! :pinkiecrazy::pinkiegasp::pinkiehappy:

Edit: A longer story would be wonderful, but since your frequency is low, maybe episodic one-shots would be better. Just treat them as chapters of the self-contained kind. No problems if one or more of them end with more than one chapter :raritywink:

Honestly, whichever you'd find the most enjoyment writing. A series of shorts highlighting all the awkward circumstances alicorn immortality engenders, or some kind of longer tale of adventure and intrigue and exploding Twilight Sparkle... :rainbowlaugh:

(why am I picturing Chrysalis and Cadance having simultaneously... discomfited each other after a fight, with their scattered bits still attempting to squabble with each other... :pinkiecrazy:)

They ARE funny but I feel like that's only so long as people who can survive being killed actually -get- killed. If that makes sense.

I'll throw my (admittedly insignificant) vote in for little stories with a consistent world. It's often much easier and comfortable working with bite sized ideas... and if they build on one another, all the better.

I vote for the one that would last the longest lol. I bucking love the concept. Reminds me a lot of Deadpool hahaha

A lot of shorts that are logicaly but not quite conected is definitely better, personal opinion. I can go to lengths explaining it, if you wish.

I quite enjoy long stories as they can have longer more detailed plots
