I have some bad news, and I feel bad about having to give it. The more I think about the direction I want to take my life in, the more I realize that a Wild Wasteland reboot is just really not in the cards. It's not that I can't find the time to write it, or that I've lost interest in the project; Wild Wasteland makes me happy and just the idea of writing it also makes me happy. The issue is that if I want to write and create for a living, I need to actually put my eggs directly in that basket, rather than fanfiction that I can't sell or even gain publicity with beyond a niche market.
This isn't to say I'll never post anything to Fimfiction again, or even that this is the last of Wild Wasteland. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up writing a few short stories here, maybe some in the FOE universe featuring WW characters. If all goes according to plan, some of my WW ideas will get recycled into new original work.
Still, I know that I said I was going to reboot Wild Wasteland, and I feel really bad that I wasn't able to make good on that, especially given the few precious fans that were looking forward to its return. That's what I'm most sorry about. If you want to know about any of my future projects, feel free to PM me, but I don't think this post is the right place to gush about something new.

Sad to hear, but it's fair enough. I feel much the same way about fanfiction these days. It's been forever since I read Wild Wasteland, but I'd be interested in at least hearing about your future projects.
It's honestly surprising how many people here have actual aspirations to become writers. Me, personally, I just do this for fun, and as practice, but I honestly never even considered trying to make a living out of that. That... I dunno. Seems like it'd take the fun out of it, for me.
