A hoof punches out of the grave

Mother BUCKER it has been too long. So yeah... I'm back, for the .2 guys who remember and care. Due to me losing cable and Netflix being a year behind, I kind of fell out of the fandom for a while. However, I have officially gotten caught up, and was struck with inspiration. It's time I dug up an old idea, but on a brand new campus...

    An Unfortunate Conclusion

I have some bad news, and I feel bad about having to give it. The more I think about the direction I want to take my life in, the more I realize that a Wild Wasteland reboot is just really not in the cards. It's not that I can't find the time to write it, or that I've lost interest in the project; Wild Wasteland makes me happy and just the idea of writing it also makes me happy. The issue is that

The Current Status of Wild Wasteland

As I mentioned before, Wild Wasteland is rebooting, but it may be a bit later than anticipated. I am partway through the first chapter, but before publishing it I need to reread the original Fallout Equestria as well as get a good outline of the final product finished. If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to ask, I'm always up for it!

    Wild Wasteland Reboot

It's official: after years of college and other projects, I will be restarting Fallout Equestria: Wild Wasteland. It occurred to me that I have never been happier or more productive as a writer than when I was working on that project. I know a lot of people have given up on me returning to that story, but I feel I am ready to take it on again. One thing that should be said, however, is that this

    MLDR Rewrite Update

A couple months ago I said that I was going to rewrite my Danganronpa crossover. Hopefully within the month, I intend to start. This means I will be taking down the current story. The changes are substantial enough that there is no hope of just editing the current version, as it will include a heavily altered cast and setting. If you wish to follow the development more, you can refer to

Wild Wasteland Reboot · 2:19am Aug 9th, 2016

It's official: after years of college and other projects, I will be restarting Fallout Equestria: Wild Wasteland. It occurred to me that I have never been happier or more productive as a writer than when I was working on that project. I know a lot of people have given up on me returning to that story, but I feel I am ready to take it on again. One thing that should be said, however, is that this is going to be a reboot: not a continuation. There are a lot of reasons for this, primarily that my plans for the original were very unfocused, and I don't believe that it would have been able to keep people's attention with all of the plot points it would have eventually taken on.

The new one's main differences will be:
1. A plot point that would have occurred later in the original is now going to be the main focus
2. Several main characters will be revamped in various ways (Lightbringer has been renamed Morning Star, Bishop will now be called Silver Lining and will have lived in New Appleloosa, Chess' personality and role are being recycled for a new character)

The old Wild Wasteland is going to stay up, as the story arcs in it will not be revisited in the new version, so they still have some value. Think of them as the "Van Buren" version of Wild Wasteland.

It will likely be up in a few weeks. If anyone who read the original has questions or comments, feel free to post them right here.

Oh, wow. More Wild Wasteland goodness from you? Colour me intrigued! :yay:

Kind of sad to see you're giving up on the old one; I wandered around just as aimlessly in The Daily Unlife and still managed to neatly tie up all loose ends of my plot points... somehow :derpyderp2:

But then again, my muse is a strange and mysterious creature. I guess not everyone's muse is into that kind of convoluted tricks :rainbowwild:

4144088 Glad to see you haven't forgotten it. I wanna recycle a few ideas, but For the most part, there was a lot of stuff that I realize wasn't going to work out. Besides, there are a few significant things I want to change that wouldn't work in the original, for reasons that will become apparent very quickly.

WHOOOOOOOOOOT!

This was one of my favourite sidefics back when it was coming out, so I'm really excited to see it come back. It's been years since I first read it and I can barely remember anything about it, though. Can't wait to see what you're got planned!
