For those of you that haven't yet noticed (which I'm pretty sure is all of you, because seriously... who even checks to see if my stories update) I have removed ALL of the chapters from "Finding your beat". The reason for this is quite simple. After having little to no motivation to work on the story, I was struck with inspiration for a re imagining of the story.
Previously, the story had just been me bullshitting and just writing what I felt like. But recently, I became enthralled with the idea of turning this into something else, into something... better. To that end, I have pulled down and started rewriting the first two chapters of the story. I'll avoid saying anything about what is changing, if only to (hopefully) surprise any of you following the story with the direction I decide to take it.
While the direction I'm taking with the rewrite won't be for everyone, to any of you that decide to stick with me... I truly appreciate it. If you can't tell from my sporadic update schedule, I tend to suffer from a lack of drive to get things done, but every view, every comment... every thumbs up left on one of my stories fills me with pride, and gives me the push I need to work on more content, and for that, readers, I thank you.
I will be reposting the old chapters (for posterity) as well as the new versions by the end of the weekend, and hopefully a third chapter won't be far behind. Until then, y'all have a good one!
