I felt it was necessary to show how everypony is doing after the first mission with Marevelous on the team. It was never said that they were the tightest band of heroes, but at the moment, it doesn't seem like they'll ever be. Our heroes are being stretched at the seams and we've only been through two missions together. Another question rises; what does the Princess know? Obviously she has something to hide, but what exactly is it? She's cold and self centered, but for a moment there didn't she seem almost... hurt? Rarity and Fluttershy aren't healed yet after first mission and that might just be taking it's toll on them too. It's never felt good to feel useless.
Next time, It's about time we figured out what our gang boss knows. He certainly doesn't seem like he has the emotional stability to run a gang if this is how he acts when everything falls apart. Who is Goose Fang, Really? Afterward, Marevelous sees a problem and attempts to fix it. If Goose's harem was disjointed and could barely work together, Harmony is just as bad aren't they? See what happens in the next chapter of Sometimes They Call Me Super.
I was pretty happy with the way this chapter turned out. I think I really did well with my dialogue between everyone and it makes solid sense for this to be the next step in the order of things. Not to suck my own dick or anything, but I think this is pretty good. With finals over and school not being a thing for the next month, I might try and up the production on these and see if I can't get two chapters out every week until January. It may not end up that way, but I'll make it a goal to try and get something out on Wednesday since I legitimately don't have anything better to do.
Yesterday, after finishing the chapter, I started getting to work on figuring out how to do clean line art on clip studio. Before finding the stabilizer. After finding the stabilizer. I think my color and shading in general is better on the first one, but my lines are 200% cooler in second one. I would have liked to do Rainbow's eyes in color like I did Applejack's, but the way the lines were made didn't allow that without me fucking around with them more. It was like 4am when I finished Rainbow, so I was about done for the night. These are both more or less how they would appear if I ever followed through on my threats to make a comic out of Super, sans the coloring. If I do a comic, it will not be colored, fact. Note: Just because I have an Idea of how Rainbow looks in the story does not mean that she has actually appeared in the story.
I'm fuckin' tired of being sick. I have been coughing and spitting up snot for the past week and it needs to stop. Just because I don't have to do anything now that I'm back home does not mean that I don't want to do anything while I'm home. I love winter, but I'm more than ready for the temperature to settle so that my face stops melting for once. Why can't I just have my two weeks of Texas Winter without the face melting headaches and coughing fits? Oh well. I suppose I'll just sit here and enjoy my peppermint flavored everything in between throat scaring coughing.
Well, that's all I got today. TL;DR I'm fucking sick again, but because I'm, done with the semester Updates may become more frequent.
