So ... All These Drafts ... · 12:11am Dec 11th, 2016
So basically, I'm at an impasse point right now. I've got two full fanfics done and waiting—yes, two. I just put the final lines on Discord Day Care (sequel to Why Me?). Both are now Alpha drafts!
Also, Discord Day Care, a short story, wound up being 45,000 words. I really don't do short stories, and it shows. The story definitely got away from me and became a lot more (and different) than I initially expected.
So, will these be up tomorrow? No. Why? Because I don't put up unedited work. Which means ... I need Alpha readers. Then I'll need Beta readers. After Alpha and Beta passes, both stories will go up, first Tirek is Doomed, and then Discord Day Care (the latter one chapter by chapter).
Yeah, I know most of you have finals/Christmas chaos in your lives at the moment. But if you've got some spare time (especially if you've Alpha'd or Beta'd before for me) and a hankering to help, I'm ready to get both stories out into the wild.
I'll be finished with everything regarding school by wednesday(yay for transitioning from finals to more smaller tests(at least in courses I'm taking)) so that just leaves Christmas chaos, and honestly, the more I have to distract me from that the better.
This somehow ended up being way more ramble-y than I intended, what I meant to say is that I have time to beta.
Send you after a short story, and you come back with a novella.
Remind me not to send you out for watermelons when the grocery store also inexplicably stocks elephants.
I have some free time, but I have never beta'ed for you. but I got time to kill and I would love to beta for you.
