Y'know what I think? I think I've been in a downer state for the last couple months. I think my failure to publish anything is because of that. And I suspect my last few blogs have been reflective of it. I sat in front of my computer today and thought, "Why would anyone want to keep reading about me failing to achieve my goals?"

Pfft. Screw that. I've had enough.

No more talky. Today I'm just gonna throw a bunch of art at you guys for the fun of it. Let's think positive thoughts!

I feel like I'm missing a smidgen of context on #3.

Did that cupcake war happen to inspire a certain What Lies in a Moment entry?

Sorry you've been feeling down; are you sure the cause and effect aren't reversed, that the lack of publishing isn't a root cause? You know you best of course. Not writing makes me crazy.

Well Iv'e not said anything for a while, and this post seems a little void of any comment so I figured I would fill the empty space a little (I'm the guy that completely gushed at you when I read Frequency by the way). Sorry to hear your feeling bad, definitely been there myself, but a good dose of cute colored equines is rarely a bad thing, the talent of this community never ceases to amaze me. Relating to that, it has been a little more than 3 months since I read my first fan fiction, and I think it's time to read another, maybe No Heroes, it seems kinda long to me, which is alright since the hardest time I have with a book is starting it, and reading a long story means I wont have to begin any more for a long time.

while you are missing context if you don't bother following the link and doing a little exploring, I would find it very hard to believe that you don't at least get what Spike's talking about. And no, the cupcake one did nothing to inspire What Lies in the Moment. they aren't even thematically related, so I'm not sure how you came to that theory.

No, it's not a lack of publishing, although that certainly hasn't helped. It's a crisis in my confidence. I'm moving past it slowly... but definitely moving past it.

Thanks for the encouragement. And you don't ned to remind me, I remember your gushing. I think there's still a little leftover blush in my jowls from that. :twilightblush:

Ah, No Heroes. I'm still not done expanding that universe – I only finished the first major sequel a few months ago. I warn you, Books 3-4 are pretty rough in writing quality, having received little to no editing since their inception. You might also consider taking the detour into Lightning's Bolt between 2 and 3, since I've had many people tell me that LB makes the last two books more effective from Lightning's perspective.

I get what Spike's talking about, just not why. I don't know why I thought of the moment piece either, but that's the first thing that came to mind when combining Paul+Pinkie+Baked goods
