    Upped to Mature

The patron requested it, so Blue Wedding Belles is now rated Mature, and will proceed under that banner. Figured I should post an alert about that.

So, do you like LitRPGs? Here's one set in the modern day as a catboy (there are reasons for that) discovers a whole new world of trouble, and a job.

Early Tally? · 8:59pm Nov 20th, 2016

Today was a short chapter. Shall I tally them up now and get to writing? A vote about what to vote that will result in another vote.

The hole has no bottom.

DO IT NOW!

What the crazyone said.

If you're in a writing mood, then I think you have more than enough input to proceed.

This seems like a biased sample, in that anyone who votes in this poll likely already got their opinion in on the main one, and so is probably okay with closing the input. Meanwhile anyone who hasn't been around in the past few hours gets ignored totally.

Democracy is a sham, though, so do it anyway! :BloodTrail:

4310392 Maybe I should wait a day like I usually do, to be fair,

I would wait till this evening to see if anyone else is going to vote, unless it is a runaway vote.

4310403 That was yesterday. Just about everyone was in agreement.

Man I don't even know what to answer.

Sometimes I have strong feelings about the actions but other times...

4310432 Are they bad options?

4310441
They're... a lot of options, which is a bit overwhelming.

I feel like I want to pick the one we wanna do Right Now, but most people choose multiple which I probably should be okay with.

But that's just me, most people have no problem picking the ones they want.

4310441
This time especially, it's kind of weird exactly how the options intersect and conflict with each other.

Like, 1 and 4 are exclusive, and then 6 doesn't totally work with 1 but is compatible with 4; and 2 and 5 are arguably compatible but in that case they're kind of the same thing, so it's more like they're different tones to the same action; and then 3 and 7 are somewhat binary choices of 'do or don't' on top of anything else.

If I were running the show, I'd probably consider multiple, more discrete polls, rather than throwing together every option in the same list. Like, in this case, trying to preserve the spirit of what you presented:

So, Applejack is right in front of you, telling you what you need to do. Are you going to do it?
1) Rut her now!
2) Say you need some time before you're ready. Maybe get some breakfast, together?
3) This isn't want you wanted or expected. Make it clear you're not going through with this at all.

Regardless of what you end up doing, how are you going to treat this mare?
A) Keep it professional – It's not like you're happy about being nothing but a foal-machine, either.
B) Try to get to know her better. May as well at least try to be friends through this.
C) If she's not happy about this, you're just going to have to change her mind. Time to lay on the charm!

It occurs to you that she probably knows some things about the breeding problem, being part of the program, and an element of harmony on top of that. Maybe you should try to ask her?
Y) Any information is good information.
N) It's not really the time for that.

I think something like that would get a lot more clear divisions and contrast, rather than the wibble-wobble of people picking like four options and diluting down their vote. Granted, like, ending up with 3C doesn't make any sense at all, but I'm sure you could work something out in that scenario. It would be pretty unlikely, and with the current scheme we still could have ended up with like a near-tie between 4 and 5, so...
