Hey guys, lrft4san here, dropping in to see how you all are doing. I hope you all have been having a good year so far. I just figured I'd pop on and do a blog post because it's been a very long time since I've posted anything, and I've hated being away for so long (remember the good old days when I would blog about random stuff? that was fun).
So the main reason I'm on here (other than to say how much I've missed you all) is to say yes, I am currently working on the final chapter of The Marvelous Misadventures of Shining Armor and the CMC, it's just taking me a little longer than I would have liked to write it. One of the reasons for this is because pretty much after I posted Chapter 10, things around here became very busy. First, my sister returned home from Singapore, where she's been living for he past 7 years, and I've been spending a lot of time with her, watching anime, playing video games, and Pokemon GO. Then right after she came home, my family packed up, and we went down to Gettysburg for a week to explore the battle fields (I come from a family of Civil War buffs); it was a lot of fun. After that it's been pretty busy around here, moving her into her new apartment, doing house work, and whatnot, and things are just finally starting to calm down (although I'm sure it'll get crazy again in a few weeks once Pokemon Sun and Moon come out).
Another reason I haven't been making as much progress (and another reason I why I'd like to get back into blogging more regularly) is because I've kinda gotten out of the habit of writing on my computer. Some time last year, I started doing most of my work on a mobile device at work, and I started to shy away from my laptop, using it mostly for youtube videos, or to finish that last stretch of writing that I need to do. Recently I've come to realize that doing my writing on my phone is very inefficient, because I can only write a few sentences during my break before I have to get back to work. So it isn't about a lack of inspiration, or writers block that's been slowing my down (like usual), it's because I haven't been using my time as wisely as I should, and I'm not using the best tools at my disposal to help me work more effectively. I think that If I start to blog more (which I only do from my laptop), then that should get me back into the habit of actually doing work with it as well.
Anyway I should probably wrap things up; it rained up here for the past few days, and I've fallen behind on my raking, so I should probably go do that before it gets too late. I hope you all have a fun Nightmare Night, and I'll catch you all next time.
