S6E25&25: "To Where and Back Again"

Great fun, at least as long as you don't hate Starlight Glimmer being central. Has some obvious plot holes (the changeling!Mane Six are really obvious, so how did they take over so easily?) but it's one of those episodes that's best watched for entertainment. Trixie and Discord are a brilliant double act. Chrysalis's appearance from behind the cocoons is tremendously creepy, too. I'm glad they didn't reform her -- I suspect she'll be back, and not alone either. Still uncertain about Thorax and the reformed changelings -- I don't think they're awful, but they'll take some getting used to. All in all, not a blown-away classic but a pretty strong way to end a rather up-and-down Season Six. ★★★★
