Hey guys, my next chapter is just about ready, I'm just waiting for my editor to wake up and take a look at it. If you guys wanted a first glimpse, and wanted to help me out, you can find it here.

I'm really looking for believable here, so any suggestions on increasing certain times, decreasing speeds, or increasing them would be greatly appreciated. Just remember, Alex is augmented, and Rainbow is not using her wings.

although at the end, how about having Alex walk over to Rainbow and touch her head? and say "i win" or something along those lines?
The problem is that all numbers on the pony side will be pure speculation anyway. Alex could always mention that, even now, his people haves marathons; races that take professional athletes hours to finish...

I haven’t read the chapter but here’s what I’d kind of expect to happen.
Rainbow dash would dominate in the sprint, being an athlete by the standards of an equine species . But Alex, being a genetically augmented member of a species that is built to hunt by running things to death, would be increasingly more likely to win the longer a race goes on.
