Substitute - Actually I'm kinda surprised · 7:38pm Sep 28th, 2016
I am surprised that no one said anything. Minor spoilers for chapter seven.
“Ghastly Gorge,” Rarity replied.
“Oh hey!” Rainbow Dash gasped. “My two stones were around there. Hah! How about that!”
I was sure that these lines would at least turn one or two heads, but that didn't happen. So good job everypony on getting this.
Wasn't that referencing where RD's stones were from the first story? I admit I saw it, but didn't check to verify. Been too long to remember correctly, so I might be completely off base.

I thought the same, with the interesting note that it may be the first piece of conversation that differs between the realities of the time loop/cascade.
Same thing here, I thought it was a reference to Feedback, and didn't check.
Well, didn't. I went back to check it now.
Wait a minute, Rainbow Dash had to cross an ocean, and failed at that.

Exactly. That, with a bit of logic, should hopefully imply an interesting relationship between Feedback and Substitute.

The problem with deleting comments after the fact is the email notification has already been sent out with the comment in question to those you reply to.
That was an Interesting revelation in that comment/email. I'm curious to find out if that plays in the rest of Substitute or if it was just there to be amusing.
I went to check something in Substitute and came across this:
The only Sunset that wrote The Answer would be the top one. All others just copied it.
But this sorta implies it was another Sunset that wrote it. Intriguing.
4231765 Ah, then I have robbed you a small amount of fun. Oh well, that's what happens when you want to respond to everyone's comments and someone comments while you're commenting.
At least you found it interesting!

Well, each Sunset wrote a small part of it. The top completed it, sure, but they didn't write the whole thing.

It would interesting to see what it was like for the top and bottom universes since they would be so different from all the other middle universes. I can only assume that bottom universe had it really rough.
