I'm serious, folks, she's not. A seamstress only sews and repairs seams, maybe takes up a hem here and there; that's it.

Rarity is a tailor. A tailor actually measures, designs and creates from whole cloth. Men's and women's clothing, both.

If you can't bring yourself to call her a tailor, then call her a modiste. That's actually closer to what she is anyway, since it indicates an artistic component. Also, it sounds very fancy.

RARITY IS A VERY FANCY PONY. GIVE HER A VERY FANCY JOB.
