Six million Jews died. Along with five million others. But think about it: they were going to die anyway. Whether of old age, or illness, or in some other war, they were doomed to perish just like any other human being. All the NSDAP did was give death to them early.

We cannot say that the NSDAP was any less moral than the Allied or Soviet powers. Although they did, indeed, commit atrocity, it was for a noble goal: to bring glory to the German Reich and improve the Aryan race. Is there a goal more noble? The allies sought only to bring more wealth to their corporate masters; the Soviets sought to squeeze the world in the iron fist of Marxism.

But alas, the good guy does not always win. In the real world, evil prevails. And although it meant the end of the Final Solution, it also meant the start of the Cold War, i.e. the mass proliferation of atomic and conventional weapons, and the mass suffering caused by decades of proxy wars.

So, no. The Holocaust was not a bad thing. It wasn't a good thing, but it wasn't a bad thing, either. It was but one of many moral sacrifices that people must take to survive and thrive. The moral victory is nothing; the material victory is everything. The dead preach no morals.

Of all the ways you could have "justified" the Holocaust... you know that this opens up a can of additional implications, right? Like, homicide of any kind isn't a crime?

Lolwat. Germans weren't Aryan. In fact, they exterminated aryans.

The Germans had also in mind to control the world and be the only one inhabiting it. At least the Soviets considered any ethnicity capable of working under a communist state (even if they effectively oppressed specific parts of the population). Also, muh corporations.

It would have happened anyway,Final Solution or no Final Solution. In the best-case scenario for Germany, the cold War is three-way. The worst-case scenario isn't what we've got, but Germany getting broken up in four states, then see this states depopulated because Operation Unthinkable starts, piling up further misery on Europe and the Middle East.
