Well bummer...

So yesterday I posted a comment on one of my favorite stories that was basically an expression of how tired I was of how some people objected incessantly to the FlashLight pairing. Then another reader posted a reply that basically derided the very idea of liking Flash Sentry as a character. I didn't get mad, but I was inspired to write another reply to thank him and those like him for inspiring me to build Flash into the character he is in my headcanon today. I would explain that at first, I only imagined him as an unusually prominent secondary character and would have written him as such, but the more I heard about other peoples' over the top and irrational hatred of him, the more determined I became to give him more depth, complexity and strength until he became, in my own settings, a very important character on equal standing with Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer (and I've got plans for all three of them). In short, I was going to praise him and his fan-hate for making me into the steadfast supporter of Flash Sentry I am today. Unfortunately, just as I was about to start writing, something occurred to me---the guy who wrote the story we were commenting on is an alright guy for the most part, but he's known for having a nasty temper and can be unpredictable. I have, unfortunately, gotten on his bad side a few times in the past, and while I've mostly managed to make amends, I've learned to step carefully around him, and I'm afraid that if I post what is essentially a "flame" on his story, he might get upset. In the end, I decided it wasn't worth the risk, despite the fact that I had been looking forward to it all day. On the bright side, the other guy's opinions seem to be quite unpopular, and even the writer himself has given him a tongue-lashing---granted, it was more for being an entitled prick (you would have to have been there to understand, but he kinda was being one) than anything else, but it still felt good.

Out of curiosity, has anything like this happened to you guys? What I mean is, have you ever really wanted to post a comment for certain reasons, only to be forced to think better of it?

I really wish to read a good Flash story(Human flash).

I have found myself in that possition. Theres this one guy on fanfiction and the worst part is that he is this site aswell. I cant even write anything with a certain series and acept canon because he starts insulting me and even gives me death threats

That's what I'm aiming to create. In the meantime, I recommend Persona: EG (just be wary of the most recent chapters).

As for the rest, that's harsh. I'd recommend blocking the guy, or reporting him.

4194753 Done that but it seems he has various acounts just to go on and rant about those stories who have that which he ates.

You know i wanted to do a persona x equestria girls but instead of using any of human 7, background characters and the 5 shadow bolts i thought of an OC and his group being made of the human version of Tirek, Sombra and Chrysalis, plus the defeated Adagio, Sonata and Aria finally by an altermate discord who was actually banished between worlds with memory problems.

Also i recomend the story Integration while not fully Flashlight it has some of the best interactions between them and staying in the canon realm with a few exeptions.

It has one interesting thing in their relationship in that both tried to have a relationship with each other counterpart from their world(SciTwi and Captain Flash) but it didnt work because they werent the same person/pony and also its prequel Aftermath of the games
