Writing Delays and new Environment · 2:19am Aug 27th, 2016
Greetings to everyone.
I have good news and bad news.
The Bad news is that I have a very bad case of writer's block that is being very stubborn at the moment... So I have been unable to write very much as a result... for like the past week... There is also more than likely going to be less chapters of each story posted, that includes Pen Pals and A Day In The Hives. I'm sorry but recently things have changed in a big way for me.
Now, onto the good news.
I'm off to College! Which is the main reason for the slowing of content. I need to keep my grades up or I won't be able to stay in this school.
So the good news is the reason you are slowing down your content? How is that good?
Well.... Technically, yes. However, there is something that I can do in the meantime. While actual chapters will be rather spread out, I can still work on building up the Hives in different ways. As a sort of... workaround, I can attempt to get smaller content out for you guys. Not really new Chapters on the Hives, but perhaps smaller stories that go on in the background.
If you guys would be interested in that, there is one I have prepared already, I would just need to edit it. The issue comes towards how I would get it to you guys.
I could make a new story, but that could be confusing, or I could post them within these blogs... The issue is that I am still working around canonicity within a few of these mini-stories, and connecting them may be an issue. Though this could help balance out the lack of actual chapters I would be putting up... Hopefully.
I'd like to hear what you guys think about the idea, and how you think I should handle it. Would you be interested in a little more of the Hives? If so, what specifically would you guys enjoy? I'm open to ideas. Hell, they may even get me over this writer's block hill Mountain. Who knows?
Take your time, maybe juggle around other ideas to get the creative juices flowing, hug a changeling, etc. And good luck in college.
By the way, I was meaning to ask: does Pen Pals take place in the same continuity as Converted and Day at the hives? Since the description places Chryssie in a rather villainous role and I was wondering if it was safe to read in terms of no horrible stuff happening to our beloved Queen Bugbutt Cheeselegs the first.
4174772 Yes, Pen Pals is more cannon (With the show), than Converted. They are two different timelines, so read on.
4175445 Ah, so nothing really horribly bad happens too her? Alright.
