Celestia and the Battle for Sunset went into serialization on Aug 22nd. The novella is complete and I will post the last chapter on Aug 28th, at which time I will post an additional "chapter" that is the full story without the chapter breaks (as it was intended to be read).
The story focuses on Celestia in my usual gritty first person narrative style as she candidly reviews her life while trying to tame a feral foal who is not only better at magic than she is, but outsmarts her at every turn. Her mistakes in the endeavor cause her to reflect on her life, including how she came to move the sun, why she has a sister, how she came to rule Equestria, why she isn't a queen, and why she isn't as royal as ponies think she is. Remember, Celestia wrote the history books. Now she tells what she left out.
This story is set in the same milieu as The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers and takes place prior to that story.
The greater the number of up-votes, views, and comments, the more likely I am to write an epilogue.
