Cool New Book by Bonnie Zacherle (also holiday details) · 6:12pm Aug 10th, 2016
I am aware that some of my followers tend to avoid Equestria Daily, and not without reason: it is a wretch hive of spoilers and spoiler happy people. While I detest spoilers, I do nevertheless keep an eye on it.
On a related (I promise) tangent, it is a common misconception that Lauren Faust is the inventor of MLP. This is quite wrong; she is responsible only for FIM. The true inventor of MLP, who deserves more recognition than many young fans (and people in general) are prepared to give her, is Bonnie Zacherle
It might, therefore, be prudent to check out this article on Equestria Daily. The lady in question has released a rather nice looking book:
It can be purchased here.
On an unrelated note, I am now back from my trip to the lakes. Fun was had by all. Note: none of the images to follow are mine; I still don't have a laptop, only a tablet. Day one was spent travelling, followed by a nice lakeside walk around Ullswater. It's quite a nice place:
Day two was a bit more challenging, and infinity more likely to have resulted in me plummeting to my death. We decided to accend to the summit of Helvellyn via Striding Edge:
Happily, we were still alive by the end of it. Day three, therefore, we went to Windermere:
While there, we visited The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, which was pretty cool. Definitely recommend to fans. A quite, relaxing day.
Final day was spent hiking to the summit of Gowbarrow Fell via Aira Force. Here is the view from the top:
And Aira Force:
My apologies for not using my own images; it's not something I'm able to do at present. I will eventually buy a computer, at which point a should be a fair bit more productive.
Cool stuff. Glad you're having a good time.
I couldn't help but sing it to this tune:
Also, those are some nice views. I usually go to the mountains on vacation and this year I was lucky to have a weather like this:

Glad you are enjoying yourself. You deserve it.
Glad you had a good time in the Lakes District. It's a bonny-looking place if those photos are anything to go by. Striding Edge looks especially lovely, particularly from that striking angle.

It's lovely. I well recommend going, should the opportunity arise. Striding Edge was really quite awesome. Not a good plan if you don't like heights; I was quite sure a fatal encounter with the ground was in my immediate future at several points.
That was a good angle, wasn't it? I wonder how they got that shot...

I'm a frequent visitor to Scotland's own Rough Bounds (also highly recommended if you're ever in the vicinity), so I'm no stranger to perilous heights. Even with that, something like in the picture would have me meeping pathetically and clutching onto the nearest bit of mountain for dear life.
I can only assume careful camera-tilting was used to get the shot. That, or tilting the whole earth. Your photographer didn't happen to be a sorcerer, did they?

Not sure, I found that pic online. I can't really get my photos online, as I lack a PC or laptop. I could link to my personal Facebook page, where they live, but that would be insane.
We're planning a trip to Scotland. The young lady who accompanied me to the Lakes is sorting that out; as a semi wise man, I shall leave her to it.

Excellent! I hope you enjoy it as and when you come. And don't fret, up here we mostly just capture unwitting visitors as human sacrifices to the elder pantheon every winter solstice or so. You should be just fine.
Affa wise. I've always found it best to stay away from any organisation whenever it's happening near me.
