Details About AJBS's Season Four Themes · 12:46pm Jul 15th, 2016

If you haven''t noticed by now, my main story - A Journey Beyond Sanity - goes through numerous changes throughout each season. Season four, which will be published the first Saturday next month, is no exception, and I shall list a few of them below so you can be better prepared for what you, my fellow readers, shall read ahead:

- Less involvement with the show's episodes. While the story takes place through the MLP seasons, it is still its own story starring my OC as the main character, and as such my story must be able to walk on its own two feet without too much help from the show. The chapters this season will be less involved and have less impact on most of the episodes of the show; either taking place before, during or after an episode.

- Chapters will be shorter. Significantly than what you read from the first season's chapters; my story originally relied heavily on the source material, following along through the episodes for most of the time. And as such, rewriting and editing what was shown or said in an episode involved many paragraphs in my chapters. Not that I want to make my chapters short, mind you, and this time the average piece of work published every week will be either 3,000 - 6,000 words long.

- Twidust romance won't be the main theme of the fic. The romance is part is only one key part. Significant, yes, but this is an adventure/humour story first, anything else later. But don't worry, you'll moments of Twilight/Stardust pretty much every chapter from hereon.

- Sombra. Yeah you better get use to him and his snarky commentary throughout the chapters. Now that Stardust has mellowed so considerably someone has to fill the void of sarcastic [BEEP]-hole. Although those two may agree on a few things more than they realize...

That's all I can say for now. I shan't spoil anything, but if you have any questions, I will answer them. That said, tune in next week for the conclusive second half of Equestria Girls... Or not, I wouldn't blame you!

I like snarky, sarcastic ***holes in stories.
