Greetings, everyone! I have just submitted my latest story, Just What I'm Fighting For, and it has gone live. I'd like to do a Writing Reflections for it, but not just yet. I don't want to give any plot points of the story away. So, instead, I'll talk a bit about how this tale came to be.

When the LGBTQ community was attacked in Orlando, it sickened me and saddened me. I have plenty of friends in the LGBTQ community, and some of them were personally affected by the tragedy. Other friends, LGBTQ or not, I watched as they tried to keep themselves together. And, honestly, I was also trying to keep myself together.

And then, I thought of this story. Just the idea of it brought me some comfort, and I realized that, with it, maybe I could bring just a bit of hope and light to the world once more. Sure, it's not expressly about LGBTQ rights or anything like that. But it is about some prevalent themes in my works: hope, the drive to carry on, and how we can all do something to make this world a better place, whether we know it or not.

So, my friends, I hope that when you read this story, it brings you some peace. I also hope that it conveys the proper respect, considering the idea's origins. I'd checked with multiple people about this before publishing, and they agreed that it did. But hopefully, dear readers, you all feel the same.

And I sincerely hope that, one day, all of this darkness will cease to be.
