IN WHICH I HIT A MINOR MILESTONE
As of today, Highs & Lows officially becomes my first (and probably only) story to reach 100 Upvotes. Yay me. 
It's been over a year since I wrote it, about eight months since I made it public, and I'm still surprised that, of the stories I've written for this site, that's the one that people seemed to enjoy the most*. I don't understand how these things work sometimes. While I'm certainly not ashamed of the story at all, I've never tried to hide the fact that very little effort went into it. When I did my final readthrough, the extent of editing was I added one word before posting it. Maybe it's precisely that rawness that resonated with people.
Don't expect the same blitheness from Lows & Highs. It's turning out to be longer than I expected. Hell, I'm pretty sure its intro is about the same length as the entirety of its sister story. Now I just need to do the hard part: the dialogue.
*Except M***. He hated it and told me exactly why. I actually agreed with some of his criticisms and I've been striving ever since to not make the same mistakes. However, Sunset will necessarily be OOC in this story too, but I'll be tagging it AU just to be safe.
