IN WHICH I AM RESURRECTED YET AGAIN
Hello. To the two people who will read this, I apologize for my recent inactivity. A bunch of personal stuff came up that left me so stressed out and depressed that I was unable and unwilling to write much of anything. Some people handle stress and adversity well enough and can power through it. I, on the other hand, shut down. Several days in the past week I've only been able to eat one meal. I don't know if life will improve in the long run, but I'm doing fine today, which is the best I can do. It's ironic… this is pretty much the mindset Sunset Shimmer is in during "Lows & Highs", and I want to be able to convey it on the page, but when I'm in that state, it's nearly impossible to write. This is why that story is taking so long to write. I hope it'll be worth it when I'm finished. Even if it's only 1000 words, I'll have given it my all.
In the meantime, I finally finished "Aria Blaze Steals A Burrito" to my satisfaction. Like I said last rambling, I wrote the core of it weeks ago. However, I felt it needed more rambling internal monologue, but I didn't know what to do. Well, I found Aria's voice today, and I'm pleased. I'm going to sleep on it and post it tomorrow. Aria drops a few curses, so I think a "T"-rating is appropriate. I don't know if I'll do author's notes for it or not; there's not really a whole lot of insight to be gleaned from it.
