For real, though. By far my favorite episode this season, and quite possibly for the series. Or at least top five. It was a very mature, well written episode that showed a lot of character growth for Fluttershy (Sassyshy, more like ;) ). Not to mention the introduction of her family and a little of her past.
Loved it.

YO, I just watched the vid and it was awesome! Alot of what you said I agreed with, then there was some I didn't.

When Zephr reared his ugly mug, I was like this, should interesting, and I wasnt wrong!
and yes I loved his attempts at flirting with Dash.
I hated Zephr for Pretty much the same reason that you hate Dash. He was/is Arrogant egocentric, Annoying, loud mouthed and generally Unrelatable to me. He just up and quits his job, then moves in with Mom and Dad and treats them like Slaves, then when they do give him the boot, he imposes on flutters and tries to boss her around!
It fails Magnificently!
Thus we meet SmugShy/TrollSly who was just awesome!
Where as I can relate to Dash, in that I am loyal my friends to a fault pretty much,(To the point that I would cuss so much that sailor would blush in same if Someone said something about my Friend in JR. High) I also like boast myself every now and then, I am just as Stubborn as she is, as well as sometimes biting off more than I could Chew at times. I also refuse to give up on alot of stuff and will pursue with same amount of Stubbornness that Dash always Displays
In alot of ways Dash and Zephr are like, but for me the biggest difference is that Zephr reminds me me of My sister in law who likes impose on my Grandparent whom I live with and drop her kids off and goes off to lord knows where and wont be back till like 1 or 2 in the morning. once it was almost four before she came and got the Kids. She act like a know it all when it come to raising babies when she has only been a mother for only TWO years, and refuses to listen to anyone who has real experience with kids. She like Zephr is also very Stupid! (She says Dolphins are Gay Sharks)
Dash on the other hand is a Self Reliant mare who Like me, has grown up and dealt with a Common Childhood Issue. Bullying. Which I again find extremely Relatable, as I have been bullied. The difference between Her and Me is that I retreated to books and Food to make myself feel better, whilst Dash Adopted a Facade where she dosnt take Shit from anyone and anything, similar to how I was high School.
Dash unlike Zephyr and my Sister N law also fends for herself. She held atleast two Jobs. Ponyvilles main weather team leader(?) and now she is a wonderbolt.
In end this all just a matter of Opinion and retrospect, I like Dash, You Like Flutters, end of story.
In the end we loved this Episode for Similar Reasons. Flutters being Awesome!
P.S: If I had someone I didnt like Hitting on me, I would probably Fly the coop as well, only I would bug out with out such Lame Lie. I would pull the "This a family matter, So I'll just leave the two of you alone." I pull the same thing in Dragon Age II.
P.P.S: Zephr flirting with Dash
This is a very entertaining review, my friend. As I said before, the moment I got done watching it for the first time, I knew that you'd have a field day with it.

4022404 That doesn't happen nearly often enough. I fully believe her flaws outweigh her positives, and I've made my case to support it.
I know I'm late, but I really love this episode, not because it stars favorite/best pony. This episode was basically a 22 minute long middle finger to those who said Fluttershy never retains her lessons and always relearns them; That she's had the least development of the the mane six and she's a one dimensional character with no depth. All throughout the episode I had this smug grin on my face thinking "Yes Fluttershy! Show those haters you are the well-written, well-developed, dynamic that we all have already known for six seasons.
This episode was a real treat and having it made some people eat their words when they said it was going to be another "It Ain't Easy Being Breezies." made it all the sweeter.
