Child of a Spell/Side Effects
Is anyone interested in these stories? I took ownership at the original author's request. I would like to gauge interest in them from you guys before doing anything. I mean, I enjoy writing as a hobby, but I won't waste time writing something that no one will read. Reasonable? I think so, not sure though.
If no one finds interest, what should I write about and would anyone be interested in being a proofreader for the random stories I have written (10+) that sit in production hell?
Oooooh, child of a spell, definitely. I've been waiting so long for an update and stories like that are either crap, incomplete/forgotten, or really short. Please?
3978039 I can take a whack at it. Although, like I said, I am not the original author. It isn't my writing style and I literally only know the bare bones of the story, so I will read it and read the notes the author left behind before riding with danny and sandy into the sun. (Yes that's a grease reference)
I would like having child of a spell continue, it's obviously up to you if you want to work on it or not. Honestly, if it's too much of a hassle don't worry about it.

I am not really interested in Child of a Spell as I have seen the same theme so many times that it doesn't really interest me as is doesn't offer any other goal to the character other then to avoid Luna at all cost with no other objective for him to go after. As for 'Side Effects' which despite being a derived from the Conversion Bureau Stories is more interesting to me in the sense that the guy is fighting a losing battle of brainwashing of his own mind but the planing of the story would need to be well though out of in order to get a good read out of it and to explore this world which is being overrun by ponies for some reason.
I also have the nasty habit of always going in the other direction that everyone what to go, so don't take too much stock in my opinions on where you should to your energies on.
I remember reading child of a spell. I'd like to see an update for that. Also can you tell me who the original author was.
I also like tcb stories but since side effects only has three chapters so far so I feel like there may be less interest. Of course that could also mean that it should receive more attention, your call.
i'm interested in both stories to continue.

"Child of a spell" is actually reasonably interesting, once you can get over the fact that it's really badly written. I'd probably read it, if you continued that one.
4064496 Honestly, I would probably reword that one in my own style if I decided to move on with it. Buckshot has his own unique style and I believe I would find it to hard to switch between his style and mine.

It would probably be an improvement. The entire thing is pretty weak in places. The story itself comes together well enough and actually managed to surprise me in places, but the actual style it's in... not so much.

I keep rereading 'Child of a spell' so i am most defiantly interested in it being continued.
