SUMMER BREAK IS HERE! And Update Information! · 5:14pm May 23rd, 2016
Hey Hive Mind, DWC here!
Man did it feel good to type that, feels like I haven't talk to you guys in years! How have all of you been? Watch any good movies or shows?
Anyway, as you can see from the title of this blog, my finals are finally over and I am now enjoying my spring break. And with that brings new information regarding the fic.
1. As promised I will be going back to my old publishing schedule. For those of you who don't know what that was, it's a four day schedule. Day one and two is dedicated to writing the newest chapter and waiting for comments for said chapter, day three is for editing said chapter, and the fourth day is posting the chapter. This will begin torrmow, meaning the next chapter should be posted this Saturday. Reasons as to why I'm not starting today is said below...
2. I GOT A JOB! Okay well not a job job, but I get payed for labor so it counts! The thing is that it's kinda random when I have to do it, so it could and most likely will mess with the posting schedule. Today for example. So when this happens I will make sure to make a blog about as well as make sure that you all know when to expect the new chapter.
3. I wanna thank you all in the Hive Mind for your patience for the last two weeks. I know it isn't easy waiting for a fic you really like to update (trust me, I have 700 something stories that take forever to update, so I feel your pain). So thank you all for being so patience and staying by my side during this time. I won't lie, there will be points during the summer that this may happen again, but knowing you guys will be as patience then as you were now, it makes the stress fly away. Thank you.
4. I'm beginning to start coming up with non pony related fic ideas. Most of them I feel are pretty good, but having another person look over it would be nice. Mind you the ideas may never hit the light of day since I can't word a story for the life of me, but it's still nice to know. Heck I'll even see what some of you guys have come up with. Send me a pm if you wanna talk.

About the non-pony ideas... Any of those ideas is like the one of Bugzee? That you follow the commentary?
Congratulations for the 'Job' also, and good for this change of time from 7 to 4, even if I think the previous summer was different but well...

If a fic I like very much updates, I am glad. But if it doesn't, I tend to forget about it until it updates, then it all comes rushing back... DEXTER'S LAB! Fuck, I'm still waiting for that one to update. And yeah, I know things like the non-pony ideas, that coupled with my short attention span... Let's just say I have similar problems. By the way, any of your ideas involving wings? Like, a lot of wings? Just to make sure we don't have a hidden telepathical connection. Still trying to figure out the exact sequence of events, and a few of the plot-points. Setting is done though... Normally it's the other way around, but hey, I guess that is the problem if you don't base the setting off the plot, but rather the plot off the setting. Slice of Life, Adventure, Romance... All those genres' you can use.
You might wonder: Why the hell am I telling you all this? Well... I am interested in how you operate when writing. And as such, I tell you a bit of how I operate to compare. I'm really just a Zerg; Any good (DNA-)sequence I see, I incorporate, or memorise for later usage. It's what I do.
It at first stared with one chapter per day in the old days, but then turned to one every two days. Now that people have lives now, we've gotten whole 4 to 7 days per chapter. Meh, can't argue with that. We've been spoiled with 3k+ chapters for a long while now.
