IN WHICH I CONFIRM MY CONTINUED EXISTENCE
Yes, I'm alive. For the first time in over a week, I was able to write a couple paragraphs of a story. Will the end result be worth it? Who knows. But at least it's something.
What have I been doing? Working, chores. My partner demanded we binge-watch Seasons 3-5 of Game Of Thrones because she was tired of being so far behind the curve. We're almost caught up at this point. Whenever I'm alone, I've been watching either the GoT commentary tracks, or more anime. Recently finished School Days, and I can honestly say I liked the series. I can sorta see why so many hate it, but to me it felt a lot more real than most date-a-lass games I've seen. It was cathartic to see Makoto and Sekai get their comeuppance. I really really want to play the original VN. Once I get a new PC and set up a Steam account, it'll be among my first purchases.
Since I haven't seen any of MLP:S6 yet, I've mostly stayed away from MLP sites including this one, not watched any reviews, or even looked at much fanart (except occasionally of Sunset). I'm so far out of the loop that it almost feels pointless to try writing in this universe anymore. Fortunately, the story ideas I have on my plate are necessarily stuck in the past or are AU, thus I can get around my own ignorance.
I don't think I'll post again until I actually have something substantial to give you. Sorry.
PS - The Donald makes a cameo in my next "Burrito" story. Don't ask how I came up with that; I have no idea.
If you wish to catch up, YouTube and/or DailyMotion can probably help. There's been some magnificent stuff; most notably Starlight, who steals the show every time she shows up.
Beyond that, it's no big; you don't owe us anything!
